What She’s Got

Versatility and Boundless Imagination are essential to success. Since childhood, Rae Schiff has followed her instincts and consistently taps into her inventive nature -- capturing the attention of the press and public alike with her “Why haven’t they thought of this yet?” approach.

She Knows The Trends, Then Sets Her Own. Ms. Schiff has pioneered several key contributions to popular culture ranging from her own magazine to documentary and tv show ideas to award programs for various sponsors. She came up with the initial idea for the ABC show “190 North” which featured happenings across the city of Chicago and other locations. Rae presented David Letterman with staging his first live show in another city and VH1 with the concept of The Comedy Awards. She also saw opportunity in the fact that Chicago did not have two vital resource guides. This led to her publication Word of Mouth: the freelancer’s directory and the Concierge Connection.

The Arts and Night Life. Schiff realized early on that Chicago’s club, gallery, theater and restaurant scenes paled in comparison to what was happening in the hip venues of New York and L.A. Her reaction was to develop and spearhead special events and promotions at locations that brought vitality to the city’s entertainment community and transcended the ordinary. She was also one of the first promoters to collaborate with artists and entertainers to create public awareness of important social issues and charitable causes.

Idea Power. Rae’s penchant for creative concepts also extends to national promotions and products that have the potential to build strong brand recognition, develop market share and reap unforeseen profits. In other words, she doesn’t develop “Pet Rock” fads. Schiff has worked on projects for Universal Pictures, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, MillerCoors, Pepsi, Stoli, Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Playboy, Anheuser-Busch, FCB’s IMPACT Group and other high-profile corporations.
